A modern UX designer’s workspace featuring a laptop with design software open, a notebook filled with sketches and notes, and a cup of coffee. In the background, a whiteboard with user journey maps and sticky notes is visible, along with a plant, adding a touch of nature. The setting is well-lit, clean, and professional, highlighting the tools and environment of a creative workflow.
A UX designer’s creative workspace, where ideas are transformed into user-friendly designs with the help of AI and collaborative tools.

This past week has been a fascinating continuation of my journey into UX design during a time when AI is transforming everything. Each day presents new insights, challenges, and growth as I explore how AI impacts the world of user experience and how I can bring more to the table through my own work.

New Projects and Proposals

This week, I focused on a few exciting opportunities. I worked on several Upwork proposals, including a UX/UI audit for a website and a design project for an AI-powered note-taking app. These projects are helping me refine my approach to blending human-centered design with cutting-edge AI technology. One key realization from this week is that AI shouldn’t just be a flashy tool but should serve to enhance user needs.

I also worked on a branding and identity proposal for the Be MRI Safe project, which aims to improve patient experiences in healthcare settings. This has allowed me to reflect on how UX can drive empathy and accessibility, two values that are essential for designing products that truly improve people’s lives. The opportunity to create design systems for real-world impact has been incredibly rewarding.

Exploring Design Alchemy and Team Growth

Another highlight of this week has been my focus on scaling Brady UX. I’m working to grow a roster of talented designers and developers for our Upwork agency. Currently, it’s just Olya and me managing the projects, but there’s potential for expansion, and I’m excited about the new collaborations that could arise. Building this agency is part of my vision for bringing together creative and technical minds to take UX projects to the next level.

Olya and I have also been working on our Design Alchemy initiative. It’s important that we not only communicate the benefits of this offering to potential clients but also highlight the roles that Olya and I play in the project. I manage the design side, while Olya handles project management. Together, we create a comprehensive, holistic service that I believe will resonate with clients who are ready for innovative UX solutions.

Learning from Others in the Community

Another key part of my journey has been connecting with others in the industry. I had some insightful conversations at the EquiTech event this past week. I met with founders, CEOs, and tech innovators who are all exploring the intersection of AI and UX. It’s been exciting to follow up with them, offering coffee chats and opportunities to explore collaborations.

I also got to see the power of community firsthand. I’ve been reflecting on my recent conversations with people like Jose Leon, who provided fantastic feedback on the Be MRI Safe project, and I look forward to continuing those collaborations once funding is secured. These moments remind me that UX design isn’t just about creating products — it’s about building relationships and aligning vision with real-world impact.

Looking Ahead

As I continue navigating UX in the era of AI, I’m reminded that the key to success is a combination of adaptability and staying true to core values like empathy and simplicity. AI is becoming a significant player in the design space, but it can’t replace the human touch. The work I’ve done this week has been a balance of pushing the boundaries of what technology can do while ensuring it serves people in meaningful ways.

This journey is far from over, and I’m excited to keep sharing updates on how AI is shaping my approach to UX. As always, feel free to connect with me if you’re also on this path or if you have insights to share.
